ORGANIC DAYS: Redefining the live music experience in Busan

Organic Days was never meant as an entertainment. Designed as a group activity, it stressed being present, perceptive, and friendly the fundamental activity of hearing together.

The result of a thorough curation of Korea's indie music scene, the three-day live music series at Yugiche Gwangalli in Busan will run from December 26 to 28. Organized by a local team, the event first honors closeness and sincerity above degree of luxury or size. By using a rigorous standing-only method and a modest capacity of 100 tickets daily, ORGANIC DAYS will distinguish itself from traditional festival paradigms and so promote artist-audience interaction.

Each day will have its own emotional rhythm. Starting Dec. 26 at 16:00, the first evening's performances will start at 19:00. The evening is meant to be passed quietly and introspectively guided by artists whose music is subtle but emotionally powerful. The night will start with Kim Myeongguk; then Woo Heejun will open the show followed by cotoba, who will engage the audience with her nuanced, multi-tiered voice. Until 23:20, Kim Ildu and Idiots Band will play live, uncut sets closing the evening. With a premeditated counterpoint to the sensory overload of conventional live events, the rhythm will enable meditation, quiet, and reverb.

Doors will open at 14:00 on December 27, when the audience will gather gradually, therefore making the event more intense and protracted. Woorin Before Saga and Roots Redeem will aggravate the emotional path, respectively; Yeoyu and Seolbin will offer a gentle introduction. The arrival of Irang is anticipated to represent a turning point; then Synergarette and Chaesedae will maintain the energy until 23:20. Yugiche's careful spatial design and precise flow control will support retaining the closeness despite the longer schedule.

The mood will turn back to being more subdued and inward-looking on December 28, the last day. At 16:00, Hey Unison and Deadpaints will usher the crowd into the venue then Band CBGD and Mingginyu will follow. Rather than bombastic endings, the Redemptions and Cadejo are expected to close the series with emotionally resonant performances, hence finishing the event at 22:10. Rather than a dramatic conclusion, the finale is meant to be reflective, calm, realistic, and thoughtful.

Organic days will adhere to an operating theory rather than only a scheduling. Given only a small number of seats set aside for repose, all performances will be stand-up. Professional equipment will not be permitted; casual phone use will be constrained. Some spectators might be seen in later video releases as an official film team will be recording the event. Entry will be restricted to adults with valid identification; a rigid code of conduct will emphasize respect between artists and visitors. Yugiche will be guided by values intended to be seen across the event (safety, attentiveness, and consideration) in creating a creative environment based in them.

Tickets for Day 1 are 45,000 KRW; tickets for Days 2 and 3 each cost 55,000 KRW. Official booking system will also provide reduced two-day and three-day tickets. Ticket sales started on November 23; December 1 saw the release of the complete timetable.

Organic Days will essentially call into question conventional festival labels. Shared listening will turn into a succession of lived events : flawed, human, and very close together. Eliminating unneeded distractions and focusing on the present, Yugiche will provide an experience where music is truly lived rather than merely devoured.
